Who was Gerry Vincent Bull and why is his unsolved murder in Brussels, Belgium, March 23, 1990, still a matter of national and international mystery and intrigue. It is time to take another look.

HIGHLIGHTS OF PROFESSIONAL LIFE AND INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION

• At age 34 Gerry Bull was the youngest full professor ever appointed by McGill University.
• First national press coverage - Toronto Star, 1958
• An ingenious method of putting satellites into space has been devised by a team of researchers under brilliant, Toronto born Dr. Gerry V. Bull.
• For a fraction of the money the United States was spending on rocket launches I am certain we can put satellites into orbit using a gun. The prospect was ideal for Canada, a rich nation in technology but a nation with a limited budget.
• Bull's arrival at McGill University in 1961 began the start of high-profile research in gun-launched projectiles, which would be known as the High Altitude Research Projectile project (HARP), with a firing range located in Bermuda.
• The Canadian Government announced that funding for the HARP project would cease as of June 30, 1967.
• Bull opened negotiations with Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont where he found a lot of interest in continuing the HARP research project.
• A missile, weighing 170 kilograms, had reached nearly 92 kilometres, a wold record for a gun-fired space shot. On November 18, 1966 one of Bull's Martlet missiles was fired to a height of 180 kilometres establishing a world record for the next twenty-five years. The record shot was achieved at the American Army's firing project at Yuma, New Mexico.
• As a result of the U.S. Army's funding and testing of Bull's project HARP, he became linked permanently to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.
• Enter the Bronfman family of Seagram fame and fortune in May of 1968. Attracted by the growing potential of the HARP programme, they agreed to purchase Norwich University's interest in HARP and privatize the programme. Space Research Corporation was now an independent commercial enterprise in complete control of the promising state of the art ballistic research laboratories and workshops and the firing ranges in Bermuda and Highwater, Quebec. Gerry Bull was appointed technical director of the program.
• Gerry Bull now had an international reputation and ownership and control over enough missile power to start a major war. He had a firing range in the Barbados and ownership of Big Betsy, then the largest missile gun in the world. Intelligence agencies from every major military power in the world were well aware of the brilliant ballistic work of Gerald Vincent

Bull and saw the military potential of his ballistic research and concepts. He was now seen as a major scientific figure by Defence Departments from the Far East to Washington, D.C.
• Dr. Bull was internationally involved, as a private consultant, in bullistic and nuclear research and weaponry to a wide range of countries -- South Africa, the United States, China, and eventually and possibly fatally to Iraq. Without a doubt he was now the world's leading expert of present day and future military utilization of supergun theory and projects.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL CRISIS

Gerald Vincent Bull was an extraordinary complex multi-talented man -- scientist, multi-millionaire, philosopher, prophet. In 1980 he was found guilty by an American court of exporting munition supplies to South Africa, in violation of then existing United States laws and United Nations' international sanctions against South Africa's governmental apartheid system of racial separation and discrimination. He was sentenced to a one year jail term, with an exemption of six months, to be served at the minimum security Allenwood Prison Camp in Montgomery, Pennsylvania. Bull was embittered by the charges against him and the evidence provided at the trial which he thought was false and misleading. He was under the impression that he had been operating and working under the auspices of the Central Intelligence Agency of the United States and had their full cooperation and assistance in the shipment of military materials to South Africa. He felt that he was being used as an expedient scapegoat by then President, Jimmy Carter. Some years later he found evidence that cleared him of these charges. He was now bankrupt, hospitalized, under psychiatric care and confined to jail. He was released after serving four and a half months. After a brief vacation in the Carribean with his wife Mimi he moved immediately to Europe. He was completely disillusioned with the governments of the United States and Canada. He flew to Paris in 1981 and went on to Brussels where he rented a small kitchenette apartment. There he began to build a new company as he had received several invitations from the Chinese government to visit them in order to discuss his work. They were interested in his HARP programme. He made an application to have his Canadian passport renewed and was shocked and hurt to learn that his Canadian citizenship had been revoked as Bull had previously taken on American citizenship in Vermont which was done purely for business reasons. The Canadian government exercised its option in this matter, although Gerald Vincent Bull had never lived in or worked for any company or institute in the United States. Bull wanted to retain his Canadian citizenship and travel passport but was forced, by these circumstances, to use his American passport.

Before leaving for Europe Bull was quoted as saying:

"Canadian civil servants have sabotaged the Canadian Defence industry for the last twenty-five years. The New York City police force is about as large as the Canadian Defence Department and far better equipped. I was proud of Canada during the Second World War, but not now. As for the United States -- they're a gutless, confused bunch. The United States has obsolete conventional weapons and no morale in their Armed Forces. They could not defeat Timbuktu in a fight."

ON HIS OWN -- BRUSSELS 1981-1990

The last twenty-two years of Dr. Bull's life were engagingly successful and driven years. His dream of designing and building a supergun now seemed only a few shorts years away. In the late 1980's the concept of a supergun seemed to be on everyone's lips. He was now international recognized and held in the highest esteem by his fellow scientists and major players in the murky governmental world of international military economics and politics. The arms race was heating up to a feverish pitch.

Bull was planning a gun of vast proportions and staggering potential The barrel was designed to be 156 metres long. With the breech and recoil mechanism fitted, the entire gun would be close to 200 metres in length -- the bore of the barrel 1 metre wide. The breech was to be large enough so that two men could walk around inside the space created. The projectiles would be rocket-assisted and be powerful enough to put a 50 kilogram satellite into orbit. Bull saw his supergun as a less expensive satellite launcher rather than a military weapon. Bull had previously proposed such a satellite launching gun to the United States and to NATO's top commanders -- they both elected to wait for future developments in Gerald Bull's programme of a supergun satellite launcher. No matter what Bull told everyone about his concept of a supergun being build exclusively as a less expensive method of launching satellites, there were those who continued to declare it to be a weapon of such fearful destructive potential that it would upset the balance of power in the Middle East. They were certain to use this distorted propaganda to further their international agendas. In Iraq's case, they needed an economical method of launching their own spy satellite into space in order to compete with Israel's then operational spy satellite.

His life in Brussels was one of unrelenting work involving both negotiations for potential contracts and the necessary scientific research and design work. In early months of 1990 Gerry Bull began to notice that someone had been entering his apartment while he was away working at his office or on a trip out of the country. Nothing was taken and no money every stolen, but whoever the intruders were they left behind clear evidence that they had been there. Also his luggage was beginning to be often "lost" at the airports he used in his travels around Europe, Asia and the Middle East. This became such a problem that he was forced to carry extra underwear and toiletry items in his carry on bags. His luggage was always "found" a day or two later and sent to him wherever he was staying. He could only conclude that the C.I.A., M16 or Mossad, or all three had gone through his things while his luggage was officially designated as "lost." All of this hassle and harassment came with the territory, his advisors and friends assured him -- there was nothing unusual in these methods for anyone as well known as Bull in the military arms business. He had suspected for some time that his telephones were tapped and that his mail was being tampered with. His last apartment "warning" was shortly before he was murdered. He returned home to find that his furniture had been rearranged and his set of drinking glasses has been replaced by another set of glasses which he found in his kitchen cupboard. Now everyone advised him to take these signs seriously and to discuss these matters with the police and his closest friends and advisors. Bull disregarded their advice as he knowingly believed that if these people wanted him out of the way there was nothing he could do to stop them. A more serious and troubling message was received in a letter from Luis Palacio, a vice president of Space Research Corporation and a long-time friend and associate for the past thirty years. Luis told Bull that a Palestinian contact, who had connections with a well known international arms dealer, told him that the Israelis had decided to eliminate Dr. Gerald Bull. They would use people who could not be traced back to them in Israel.

At this same time Gerry Bull's apartment manager had accepted a deposit from two men with strong foreign accents, who wished to rent an apartment in the Cherrideau area of Brussels. They supplied him with references and asked that a rental lease be drawn up. They told him that they would return to sign it but in the meantime they wanted to have a set of keys for the apartment and for the front security entrance door in order to work on the apartment redecoration. He gave them the keys. They never returned and their references proved to be a list of fictious names and addresses.

DEATH IN BRUSSELS

The 22nd day of March 1990, the first day of Spring, was a cold wet day in Brussels. Gerald Bull was a weary man when he prepared to leave his office that night shortly after seven in the evening. He had plans to have dinner that night with a friend, Helen Gregoire. After continually travelling for the past few weeks, he was looking forward to spending a quiet evening having dinner with Helen. He was now 62 and found travelling, with its steady diet of airports, air planes, business meetings, and hotel living an exhausting experience. His secretary Monique Jamine offered to drive him home. She stopped at a local bakery to buy a loaf of bread which he needed. Over his right shoulder he carried, as always, his large black canvas bag which contained all his important documents and papers. Bull left the car when they arrived at his apartment and walked to the entrance door. Monique watched from the driveway as Bull let himself in and walked to the waiting elevators. He took an elevator to his apartment which was number 20 on the sixth floor. A short time later Helen Gregoire discovered his body lying in a heap in his apartment doorway when she arrived to meet him. She screamed thinking he had a heart attack. Her scream was heard by a downstairs neighbour who ran to see what the trouble was. They then telephoned for an ambulance. Gerald Vincent Bull was dead, shot five times. On the carpet under his head were large blood stains. The police were then notified.


The Brussel's police issued the following statement:

A person or persons not currently known to the authorities, walked down the hallway early in the evening of March 22, 1990 and fired five shots from a silenced pistol, into a Canadian businessman who was about to open his apartment door. The body of Dr. Gerald V. Bull was still warm when the horrified woman who was to have dinner that night found him scant minutes later. The killer or killers, left behind a corpse with $US20,000 dollars in its pockets.

This still unsolved murder sparked a series of sensational stories by the global media about a cannon so gigantic that could shoot a missile around the world. A newspaper obituary covered Gerald Bull's life with these few words:

Born in 1928 into a large Catholic family in North Bay, Ontario. He was a child of the depression. When his mother died in 1931, his father sent him to live with a relative, who later placed him in a Jesuit College.

Doctor Gerald Vincent Bull was buried in St. Bruno, Quebec in April of 1990. His headstone is inscribed; When reason sleeps, Justice is badly served.

A LICENCE TO MURDER

"We don't know for sure who killed my father. But among the things that I find very hurtful is that the media seems to think that if the Israelis were responsible and if they killed him because he was working for Iraq, then it's okay. In other words, that they had some kind of right to do it. Now if the Arabs had killed an American or Canadian citizen, for whatever reason, there would have been outrage and there would have been inquiries and investigations. The Americans, the Canadians, have done nothing to solve my father's murder. It is as if Ottawa and Washington have sanctioned the killing. If that is true, then it stinks. No one had the right to shoot my father in the back."

Michel Bull says that -- the media seems to think that if the Israelis were responsible and if they killed him because he was working for Iraq, then it's okay. In other words that they had some kind of right to do it.

Is Gerald Bull's son correct in his suspicions about the reporting on the fatal shooting of his father? This observation on his part seems to imply that certain nations and certain governments have been granted the right to eliminate anyone not in harmony with their ideologies, their programmes and their national and international ambitions. Did Gerald Bull not have the right to live out his normal natural life and did not his family have the right to have their husband, father and friend with them until such time that he would die from natural causes? Do not the citizens of Canada deserve to have their right to life protected and safeguarded by their own country? In the case of murder, do not Governments have the duty and the responsibility to bring the murderers to justice?

Who are these assassins? -- are they demented anarchists or mere employees of clandestine, treacherous governmental agencies. There was no reason whatever for any enraged radical to plan and carry out Gerald Bull's death. There can be no doubt it was someone recruited and paid by a government which had much to gain and little to lose by putting the fatal "hit" on Dr. Bull that evening in Brussels. Only three or four countries come to mind when one considers the motive needed to cause such an international scandal and worldwide publicity, unless they had previously engaged themselves in other terrorist assassinations and found that they came away from it without any harm to their national and international reputations. World Judicial Courts, charged with enforcing International Law, have shown themselves to be without any legal position or influence in the Gerald Bull case. Given this laissez-faire judicial scenario, the assassins and the assassinators have obtained an international licence to kill. Gerald Bull's death has become a classic example of international, see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Too many questions can spoil the whole political, economic and political agenda of international arrangements. Let Evil be! This may be the best policy when dealing with lawless nations and governments. The lack of proper and thorough inquiry and investigation into the Bull murder by the governments of Belgium, Canada, Israel, and the United States can be seen as an arms length sanctioning and approval of the "hit" by person, or persons unknown to the authorities.

The assassin or assassins, whoever they may be, may by this time also be the victim of an untimely accidental death. They know too much and will be seen as the weak link in the brutal chain of command. The main perpetrators of this crime remain above board, duly elected democratic pillars of society, with international fame and honours to their credit. They stand erect before inter-governmental bodies and international organizations and lecture the world, without any hint of apology, self recrimination, doubt or shame. They remain mute and claim no explanation or knowledge for the untimely death of Dr. Gerald Bull.

From the assassinations of Julius Caesar 44 B.C., Thomas Beckett 1170, and Abraham Lincoln 1865, to our own troubled and eventful times, this devious method of eliminating political foes and trouble-makers, who may threaten the present regime with its deep dark secrets, has been the favourite tool of silencing voices which threaten positions of power and influence.

A notable few who have paid the supreme price at the hand of an assassin -- Archduke Franz Ferdinand 1914; Benito Mussolini 1945; Mahatma Gandhi 1948; Indira Gandhi 1984; John F. Kennedy 1963; Robert F. Kennedy 1968; Martin Luther King, Jr. 1968; Anwar Sadat 1981; Aldo Moro 1978; John Lennon 1980; Malcolm X (Malcolm Little) 1965; Oscar A. Romero 1980; Lee Harvey Oswald 1963; Yitzhak Rabin 1995; General René Schneider 1970; Dr. Salvador Allende 1973; Six Jesuit Priests and two women housekeepers, El Salvador 1989. Each of these reprehensible fatal deeds were planned, authorized and executed by a person or persons known or unknown, who see themselves and their agendas as a law unto themselves, not subject to any sovereign, humanistic or natural law. In their own judgement of things they had the right to possess or to issue a licence to kill. They decide who lives and who dies. They robe themselves both as judges and executioners in their cloistered rooms of deliberation and agendas.

Michel Bull's further comments:

The Americans, and the Canadians, have done nothing to solve my father's murder. It is as if Ottawa and Washington have sanctioned the killing. If this is true, then it stinks. No one had the right to shoot my father in the back.

If Michel's charges are accurate, then this whole tragic episode is a sad and somewhat frightening commentary on the motives of both governments and their citizens. The one logical conclusion which can be drawn from reading Michel's comments and suspicious is the likelihood that further investigation is not needed as the killer or killers and their employer or employers are known. They know who ordered and organized the hit on Doctor Gerald Vincent Bull, March 22, 1990, Brussels, Belgium. A new modern and dangerous, Murder Incorporated has been born and given a licence.

In his last conversation with officials from Iraq, Stephen Bull, Gerry Bull's third son, was told that their intelligence said his father had been shot by agents of Israel's Mossad. They also believed that Israel's political leaders would not sanction that action without consulting American political leaders as Dr. Gerald Vincent Bull was then legally an American Citizen.

Michel and Stephen liquidated the assets of their father's Space Research Corporation and settled its accounts. They closed the Brussels office shortly after Dr. Bull's burial. While clearing out Dr. Bull's office, Michel found a page of company notepaper on his father's desk. In his own handwriting Gerry Bull had written, as best as he could recall, the words of "The Canticle of Brother Sun" a prayer chant written by St. Francis of Assisi in 1225. Gerald Bull ended his version of the canticle with these words "Blessed are they who live in peace."

President Clinton's Midnight Pardons


A World Elsewhere

Robert H. Flood, C.S.B. professor of English Literature, philosopher, poet, one evening while discussing the vulgarity of pop culture of the day in the early 1960's in a lecture to students of which I was one, described the cultural term good taste as the habit of correct thinking. He emphasized the point of good taste being the result of a habit in one of its dictionary meanings: the prevailing disposition of character of a person's thoughts and behaviour. His thoughts that evening have remained with me ever since and have helped explain, to my satisfaction, some of the more troublesome areas of human conduct and behaviour in our society, along with a few precious examples of great and noble thoughts.

Today's most important example of troublesome human behaviour is one of worldwide interest and importance. It is the strange midnight pardoning of two fugitives from American justice, Mr. Marc Rich and Mr. Pincus Green, by President Bill Clinton in the early morning hours of his last day of President of the United States. As the explosive news of these pardons spread across America, in the immediate aftermath of President George W. Bush's January 20th Inauguration, Americans of all stripes across the nation saw this presidential action as a major national embarrassment and a humiliating blow to their sense of justice and fair play. They are mystified, angry and cynical of his late-night actions and want to learn the reasoning he used to determine that these pardons were justified. Was it a matter of just bad taste and judgment, or were there other underlying factors involved? They want to know why!

Both men left the country as fugitives seventeen years ago while under investigation and charges of tax evasion, financial fraud, dealing with the enemy, and illegal arms trading by the Justice Department of the Federal Government. They are being described as multimillionaires living in Switzerland who are now citizens of Israel having renounced their American citizenships.

Ever since the Inauguration Ceremonies the focus of the nation and its news reporting media has been dominated by the yet unexplained reasons for these pardons. Two congressional committees are holding public hearings, probing for the answers as to why these pardons to Mr. Rich and Mr. Green were granted, when clearly the fugitives are considered by most Americans to be unpardonable due to the seriousness and nature of their alleged crimes against the nation. Was it money changing hands or influence from high places or a combination of both? the so-called quid pro quo factor. It is now known and acknowledged that Clinton was vigorously and persistently lobbied by high-ranking Israeli leaders to grant these pardons, and that their friends and associates in the United States have recently donated large sums of money to the Clinton Library fund and to the Democratic Party of the United States. To date nothing has stuck to the ex-president and now it seems unlikely that anything will. Mr. Clinton's only response has been an innocuous letter published in the New York Times.

Mr. Rich and Mr. Green are not minor criminals guilty of lesser crimes of importance in need of presidential clemency, but rather are men of major international importance in the murky world of global oil markets and financing. The rationale or even a payback obligation of the ex-president may be eventually found in the even murkier world of secret societies, hand shakes and brotherhoods; an unseen world of mutual aid, worship of self interests, and international pacts and agreements.

Some people, probably most believe that these esoteric groups or societies are remnants of the mythologies of the middle ages and have no meaning, rank or influence in today's educated enlightened free and democratic societies. Twentieth Century scholars, their literature, and international political insights and investigations have shown that the opposite is true. They are here today, organized, active and influential as leaders in politics, the arts and sciences and financial institutions of the world. In reality they possess no special knowledge or power or alchemy, only a thirst for power, privilege and control. Their political, economic and social power is great but their annual harvest produces only bitter grapes of wrath. They are found wanting and of little value when the goal is the creation of a better world, a more generous society, a greater nation of happy and prosperous citizens.

From time-to-time this social phenomenon of secret societies has manifest itself again and again, as they may have done in the Clinton pardons. Any doubts that a myriad of secret societies exists in the world will be dispelled with a reading of Umberto Eco's Foulcault's Pendulum, published in 1989, of Rupert Corwell's 1983 publication of God's Banker, the story of the affairs of Roberto Calvi, a disgraced Italian banker found hanging from the Black Friars Bridge in London, England and his association with the notorious P-2 Red Lodge a group of Italian bankers, politicians, and businessmen, who formed and operated a shadow government overriding the authority and fundamental operations of the duly elected Italian government of the day. The workings of these societies and their political agendas will also be found by reading My Autobiography, by Benito Mussolini, who very early in his life discovered secret societies and their impact on Italian and European politics and history. He was determined that they would play no role in any of the political and social ambitions he envisaged for the people of Italy. He prohibited their existence in 1925.

Finally, we come to the thoughts of Marshall McLuhan on learning the role and importance of secret societies in our social institutions. McLuhan, Canadian scholar and world famed theorist of communications, was a man of great knowledge, intellectual integrity and religious faith. In their 1987 book The Letters of Marshall McLuhan, Corinne McLuhan and others have selected and edited letters of correspondence her husband had with friends and colleagues around the world. In a letter to Ezra Pound, dated February 28, 1953 McLuhan starts his letter with this thought: Last year has been spent in going through rituals of secret societies with fine comb. As I said before I am in a bloody rage at the discovery that the arts and sciences are in the pockets of these societies. In a letter to Wyndham Lewis he writes: Only in the past year have I become fully aware of the reality of the secret societies in the arts, philosophy and polities. In a letter to Walter J. Ong. S.J., also dated 1953 he writes: For the past year I have been exploring the relations between Secret Societies and the arts. A grisly business. I do not know what you know, but I know there is not a living artist or critic of repute who is not playing their game. I mean their rituals and doctrine as basis of artistic organization. Marshal McLuhan was not a radical or a gullible conspiracy theory expositor, but rather one of the world's great academic minds of this or any other century.

Keeping in mind the thoughts of professor Flood regarding the habit of correct thinking one would be wise to look at many of the world's historical and contemporary, political, social, and financial affairs with a jaundiced eye and perceptive insight.

Robert H. Flood is no longer with us, but thanks to his poetry published in A WORLD ELSEWHERE, 1961, his spirit remains in his poem To A Youth Newly Girded:

There are some things you've got to know
Before you, so young a man, older grow.

You'll hear this said by the really dead:

Young man, the woods are trees and full of facile liars covered with pit-smell of easy mires- "Against"'s so easy for these criers.

STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM

Today the sad realization for millions of people around the world is the brutal fact that
thousands of young innocent men, women and children are dying daily as martyrs in today’s
“War On Terrorism.” This scandalous reality is being played out graphically twenty-four hours
a day on television networks around the world and is sure to leave a long lasting impression of
horror and fear in the hearts and minds of both the young and the old of the world. A multitude
of reasons are officially “spoken of “ by military and governmental officials in their effort to
justify the invasion of Iraq by the American Government - oil, hidden nuclear and chemical
weapons, inept and faulty intelligence, democracy, freedom, liberty, etcetera. These and other
nebulous reasons have nothing to do with America’s unilateral decision to bomb, invade and
occupy Iraq. The rational for this and other recent military interventions was born in post war
1945 when the total victory of the Allied Military Forces in Europe and Asia provided the basis
needed for the birth and establishment of an terrible order of International Political Dominators
who plan to introduce a new order of political, economic and social programs on the world: a
policy of madness that will rob much of the world of its solid moral basis.
They learned the various skills of political deception and fabrication required for the creation of
an unnecessary but nevertheless desired war from their political progenitor’s bitter brew of
propaganda used in the 1930s in order create a believable list of reasons and justifications for
their military carnage in the Second World War.

DEMOCRACY - A CIVIL RIGHT OR A POLITICAL VEIL

They do all this with the consent and the approval of their very own citizens by the means of
our modern process of periodic public democratic elections: the dynamics of which they fully
understand and have learned to control. This “popular” vote is often only a prelude to a
complete and “ numerically mandated” dictatorship by the executive branch of a modern
democratic government. The early noble Greek philosophical idea of a Democracy often ends
as soon as the last ballot is counted.

An ever increasing tempo of “State Sponsored Terrorism” is a modern day problem of immense
proportions that has a profound social and cultural effect in every corner of our planet. Recent
years have become a labyrinth of fire and brimstone suffering for those people unlucky enough
to stand in the path of the military fireworks of predatory nations intent on the fulfillment of
their programs of domination in order to establish new political, social, and economic
arrangements for the nations of the world.. It is not important how many innocent people have
to die: who will remember those tens of thousands of unidentified martyrs who must suffer an
early death as a result of these policies four years from now when free and democratic elections
are held once again?

The author’s 2002 essay that follows is largely based on his own observations and conclusions
as to the events and international actions which have left their mark on the world he has lived
in, but these worldwide themes themselves and their histories are universal and vitally
important to all humanity

THE AUDACITY, FEROCITY AND
PERSISTENCE OF STATE TERRORISM

The world has seen the murderous assassinations and mutilations of the Israeli attack on
Palestinian leaders and citizens in the past few years and now some see it as being comparable to
the savagery and bestiality of a pride of lions on the hunt. Instead of nourishment, as befitting an
animal’s hunt, this insatiable State appetite is one of domination and power. While this killing
rampage continues daily, the neutral nations of the world stand aside watching the victim being
torn apart. The herd neither attacks their attackers nor do they use their collective strength as a
herd and rush in to offer protection to their young, their weak, and their old. They stand by
mesmerized, mute and dumb to the idea of death until the killing is done and the limp carcass is
carried away and then return to their grazing once again. Neighboring States, and a host of others,
choose to remain uninvolved and let the savagery play itself out, knowing that at any given
moment in time it may be their turn to be socially and economically savaged and face death and
the utter destruction of their homeland. For the moment national life is too good and too
comfortable to take sides.

At present the Americans are bombing the hell out of the remote and sparsely populated Asian
country of Afghanistan. Canada and several European Nations are obligingly assisting the United
States of America with troops and equipment in this American led Reprisal Campaign termed War
On Terrorism — their participation in these war efforts which do not directly concern them, has
a far from subtle goal of being favorably listed as a friend of Washington. The United States has
and wants only two fraternal friends who have the proper political organizations and global
ambitions and programs to which Washington can pledge allegiance. England and Israel are these
two comrades in arms.

The United States has a recent fifty year record of coercing, bombing and invading the
governments and peoples of Korea (1950-53), Guatemala (1954), Vietnam (1964-75), Libya
(1986), Iraq (1991-present), Granada (1983), Nicaragua (1982-1990), Panama (1989), Cuba
(1961-present), Dominican Republic ( 1965), Serbia (1994), Haiti (1915-1934). Not exactly a
roster of heavyweights or military giants. Their unauthorized and unsanctioned military
movements in these countries have gone on while the rest of the world sleeps. Even the United
Nations of states for international peace, security, and cooperation established in 1945, the year
that gave the world the new concept of Nuclear Warfare with the explosion of Atomic Bombs over
the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, has stood aside during these American military
escapades and were no where to be found when those victimized nations looked to someone for
help. The United States is the United Nations. Everything else is theater for the poor!

The social and psychological fruits of these alarming military attacks on these hapless and
unfortunate countries, their civilians and their property are now ripe and manifest — terror, fear,
trembling, social and economic phobias, anxiety, destruction, fright, horror, hysteria, death,
bloodshed, enmity, nightmares, hate, savagery, atrocity, destruction, rage, ruins, havoc,
desolation, destruction. These marauding attackers are now and will be forever branded as bullies,
tyrants, gangsters, barbarians, butchers, who must eventually “must pick on someone their own
size.”

Presently the only nations that can be described and recognized as being major military powers
are China and Russia. Both have the atomic power capability and maintain vast armies of
equipment and men, but at present are too busy using the United States and the rest of the Western
World as customers for their national products. This arranged detente will not last long. Conflict
on a global basis is only a matter of time. The giants want to play the games which giants play
every so often — all out warfare. Some are overdue and may soon be in need of an economic
recovery.

Meanwhile, here at home in North America, our broadcast airways and newspapers are filled with
a torrent of lies and subterfuge carefully planted by a phalanx of selected apologists and hired
hands and voices especially trained and strategically located for their evasive purposes. A throng
of compliant commentators have targeted and invaded our daily media outlets. Their constant
drumming of words and imagery is designed to drown out any dissenting voice and plunge the
debate into a grinding harangue of argumentative discord. Organized media debates are turned into
a shouting match when the truth of the matter is not wanted or found to be unsettling. These
wiseacres do not allow any insightful discussion of the terms and conditions set out in 1948
regarding the matter of financial compensation owed to the Palestinian people for their land and
their property that the State of Israel claimed and took as being their own — or for the need for
fifty years of Palestinian refugee camps which were unheard of before 1948 when millions of
Palestinians lost their land and their housing and were forced to make a life in these makeshift
communities of sorrow, hate and suffering. These liege men, armed with their faux credentials,
have poisoned the milk of human intelligence and decency. This theater of infamy has been with
us now for over forty years and has caused a great deal of harm to the normality of the human
race.* People are turned-off by these pretenses and are less inclined to believe in anything or
anyone anymore. They no longer believe in those things their parents believe or believed in and
lived and died for. To many it has all been a sham, an illusion, a show, a hoax perpetrated by
unseen and unheard social, economic, and political schemers and deceivers. Israel was conceived
and designed and given life in Great Britain thirty years before its actual birth as the State of
Israel of (Mediant Israel). It became the fourth and most recent conceptually designed country on
the face of the earth.

The various governments of Great Britain by self assumed Imperial powers have given the world
a four hundred year history of conquering, colonizing, creating, dissolving and altering countries
in Asia, Europe, Australia, North America, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, and as far east
as The International Date line. They have been a busy lot — intrusive, but very busy! This nation
remodeling responsibility was passed on to their American cousins in 1945. The British are now
resting and reaping their financial and hegemonic rewards. The harvest is substantial, indeed!

In 1749 the British established the Canadian city of Halifax in Mi’kmaq territory without
consulting with the aboriginal tribal leaders. The native people of the Segepenegatig district
seeing this foreign incursion into their ancestral domain asked themselves “where can we go if
we are deprived of our lands?” In order to save their sacred land they copied a European custom
by declaring war on the British colonists. The British were quick to label the native people as
rebels. Governor Edward Cornwallis ordered his army to “take and destroy the Savages
commonly called Mic-macks, wherever they are found.” He ordered a bounty payment for native
scalps at ever escalating rates, with no questions asked.” Three hundred years later we find a
similar method of land takeover in the Middle East. Instead of human scalps, flag draped coffins
are now the price to be paid for illegal land confiscation. The technology for killing innocents has
improved greatly!

It is impossible to discover from the records of history the number of human lives that were lost
in the four hundred year reign of domination that England and the British Empire had in Asia,
Europe, Africa, North America, South America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, South East Asia,
and in the Pacific. Entire nations and their peoples were enslaved and colonized — in every case
against their will. Millions of Africans were captured, chained and shipped to far off foreign lands
and cultures. How many died on the way will never be known. Those that survived were and
remain strangers in a foreign land.

The United States of America in its recent fifty year history of forcefully restructuring and
transforming nations of the world that they label as “problem or terrorists”states is also faced
with the need to eliminate millions of lives in order to achieve their global aims of domination
and political and economic control. How many to date? No one is counting.

All this killing and state domination and control is achieved by the fraudulent pretense of a clear
and present global need for the establishment of the dual banners of Capitalism and Democracy.
Evidence of this accusation of America’s political leadership pervasive kinship to the
International State of Affairs rather than national loyalty to America’s very serious domestic State
of the Nation concerns, can be readily seen and analyzed when their empire building needs
require their national treasury purse strings to be wide open. Direct massive billion dollar loans,
financial grants, covert military equipment and training programs complete with needed teams of
advisors and diplomats and the old stand by “unpublished and unknown” appropriations” are
annually allocated to special in league nations. Meanwhile each year their domestic purse grows
smaller and smaller. Central urban areas of former great American cities from coast to coast have
become what looks very much like a civil war ravaged zone — having little or no hope or no
promise of rebirth or revival. Crumbling social, educational, transportation and medical
infrastructures fail to deliver what has been called “the American Dream.” to the majority of
American families and citizens. Child poverty, homeless people, inadequate hospital and medical
services for the poor, primary and secondary educational inefficaciousness, are modern day social
diseases. No single governmental agency exists that has the dedication and the will to eradicate
these and other looming national social dilemmas.

THE BRITISH EMPIRE
1600 - 1945
AFRICA
Africa was a vast virginal repository of potential fabulous fortunes that could be quickly and
easily made in the gold, diamonds, ivory and slave trades. It is easy to see why Victorian England
was so ready to expand its empire into this mysterious and resource rich continent. England’s
African presence was significantly increased at the end of the First World War with its
confiscation of defeated Germany’s African colonies.

The elaborate and highly secretive preparations which went into the Zionist plan of forming and
creating a State of Israel, located in what was then Palestine, became a reality on November 2,
1917, when Lord James Arthur Balfour stood before the British Parliament and announced that
he had sent a letter to Lord Lionel Walter Rothschild, Chairman of The Zionist Federation,
informing Lord Rothschild that his cabinet and His Majesty’s Government “ view with favor the
establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best
endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this object, it clearly being understood that nothing
shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish
communities in Palestine, ...”

Lord Balfour’s, now famous letter, became the first significant statement of political approval
and recognition of Zionist ambitions by a major International Nation. It predated the Treaty of
Versailles and the formation of the League of Nations by two years, the Second World War and
its ensuing Holocaust by 22 years. The idea of an Israel was bigger, in many respects, than any
other international event since the lunacy of the 1914-1918 Great War. Sir Winston Churchill then
a member of that 1917 Parliament played his now familiar factotum role. He was later quoted as
saying “ I am a Zionist, let me make that clear. I was one of the original ones after the Balfour
Declaration and I have worked faithfully for it.”

In April of 1920 at San Remo, Italy, Britain was conveniently and expediently given, by The
League of Nations, a political and administrative Mandate to govern Palestine, the Transjordan,
and Iraq regions of the Middle East. The League’s authorization document read: “ His Britannic
Majesty as the Administrator for Palestine, ... .” Very cavalier language.

the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been
submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet.

Religious Jews of the world may have unwillingly and unwittingly created for themselves and for
future generations of their children another unthinkable holocaust, simply by following the
Zionist promises of the establishment of a sanctuary of safety and peace and a geographical
national homeland for Jews. This idyllic world was promised by renowned and obscure Zionist

sky is now a high security zone, patrolled by combat prepared armed military and paramilitary
personnel, and civil and private police forces. Technology has provided a post modern highly
secret and elaborate billion dollar worldwide computer intelligence gathering program that listens
every hour of every day to everyone’s everyday conversations and sees into the private
correspondence between individuals reaching into every corner of the earth. The nation’s most
important public issues are now held to be “most secret” while the most private intimate personal
issues are now “illuminated and broadcast” for the entire nation to see and read. Lethal security
measures are now highly visible at public buildings, airports, border crossings, city centers,
synagogues, embassies, government properties, even to the playing fields of the country.. Nothing
and nobody is now considered to be absolutely safe and secure. This regime of anti-terrorism
security has over-powered the average citizen and has taken away what was formerly considered
to be their public free world where innocent men and women with their families felt free to live,
laugh, and struggle for happiness. That joy is now disappearing from view.
To question Israel’s state policies is immediately translated and labeled as being anti-Semitic, by
official Zionist gate keepers. How can it be anti-Semitic when tens of thousands of Jews around
the world daily protest and demonstrate against the policies of the Israeli government of Ariel
Sharon’s Likud Party. Any written or oral statement questioning and criticizing American and
British government policies and programs that support the Israeli government is especially seen
as being unpatriotic and unwelcome.

Upon closer inspection it will be seen that the State and the Governments of Israel are not Judaic
nor does the State follow and believe in and observe the ancient beliefs and practices of Judaic
Law. Israel is a secular state. It is a modern Anglo-American- Zionist State given over to a goal
of global political influence and economic power and domination. The State of Israel is their
beachhead to the entire Middle East.

June 7, 1981: Israel bombs Baghdad nuclear reactor

The Israelis have bombed a French-built nuclear plant near Iraq's capital, Baghdad, saying they believed it was designed to make nuclear weapons to destroy Israel.
It is the world's first air strike against a nuclear plant.

An undisclosed number of F-15 interceptors and F-16 fighter bombers destroyed the Osirak reactor 18 miles south of Baghdad, on the orders of Prime Minister Menachem Begin. The army command said all the Israeli planes returned safely.

The 70-megawatt uranium-powered reactor was near completion but had not been stocked with nuclear fuel so there was no danger of a leak, according to sources in the French atomic industry.

Mortal danger

The Israeli Government explained its reasons for the attack in a statement saying: "The atomic bombs which that reactor was capable of producing whether from enriched uranium or from plutonium, would be of the Hiroshima size. Thus a mortal danger to the people of Israel progressively arose."

It acted now because it believed the reactor would be completed shortly - either at the beginning of July or the beginning of September 1981.

The Israelis criticised the French and Italians for supplying Iraq with nuclear materials and plegded to defend their territory at all costs.

The statement said: "We again call upon them to desist from this horrifying, inhuman deed. Under no circumstances will we allow an enemy to develop weapons of mass destruction against our people."

The attack took place on a Sunday, they said, to prevent harming the French workers at the site who would have taken the day off.

There have been no reported casualties.

The Osirak reactor is part of a complex that includes a second, smaller reactor - also French-built - and a Soviet-made test reactor already in use.

Iraq denies the reactor was destined to produce nuclear weapons.

Israel's Prime Minister Menachem Begin ordered the raid

News of the audacious raid did not actually emerge until 24 hours later when Israel made its announcement. Only then did Iraq admit it had happened and express indignation.
One of the pilots involved was Ilan Ramon who trained as Israel's first astronaut but was killed in the Columbia shuttle disaster in 2003.

Two weeks after the Osirak attack Israel admitted it had the capability of developing its own nuclear weapons.

And in 1986, Mordechai Vanunu, a former nuclear technician was found guilty of espionage after he told a British newspaper, the Sunday Times, that Israel was secretly building atomic bombs.

French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac cultivated France's special relationship with Iraq during the 1970s to maintain an influence in a region dominated by Anglo-Saxons and boost trade links with the oil-rich nation. He led the universal condemnation of Israel's attack on Osirak.

Then, 22 years later - as French president - Mr Chirac was vehemently against the USA and Britain going to war with Iraq over the issue of weapons of mass destruction.

A much more harmful and devastating by-product of this shameful litany of State manipulation,
intrigue, war crimes and duplicity is today’s prevailing systematic growth of corporate, state,
institutional and private penchant for the rewards of fraud and corruption. The rot of public
corruption abounds in society today, as never before, and gives no indication that it can be
contained or eliminated. Political and economic corruption and malfeasance is regarded by those
now in positions of power and influence as a necessary and rewarding tool of the trade. Public
discovery and ensuing shame do not dampen the worldwide appetite for the fruits of this
malignant code of conduct. Where there is no shame corruption abounds!

Israel, England, and the United States of America each have a concealed arsenal of atomic and
nuclear weapons and mistakenly may now believe that with these weapons of mass destruction
they can dominate and control the world. They should be wise enough to know that these weapons
of mass destruction are only the penultimate power in the world today — the ultimate power
resides with people in the street power. History has shown this to be the case and the future will
again show that this people power has no rival. They have toppled great governments, empires
and kingdoms in the past and still retain the crowning street power to do it again, and again.
This four hundred year run of international and intercontinental Empire building and the attending
warfare required for nation building and nation altering programs has attached to it very
substantial human and financial costs. One does not invade, over-run, conquer, and colonize a
foreign nation or people without much blood-letting, burials and expenditures of vast national
fortunes. Both costs are essential to achieve the initial victory and then to institute the planned
economic and political goals and ambitions. Some people must die and some people have to be
bought and paid off.

To conceive, plan, script, design, cast, and finally organize and generate a worldwide war program
requires an outstanding number of players in both major and minor roles and the gathering of
unlimited financial resources needed to produce and stage it. First someone or some group must
have an idea, a plan, a goal, an ambition, a reason to act. These ideologies only find themselves
satisfied when another nation or another people are attacked and dominated. These are never
natural acts of self preservation.. They exist in history in order to satisfy a creed, an urge, a self
proclaimed need.

If Middle East conflicts continue as they exist today, they will inevitably worsen and that entire
region will become another 1939 Europe — a ready flash point of international political duplicity,
ready to ignite and cause a major worldwide conflagration, once again.
